How to Jailbreak iOS 8.1.2 using Taig

There are some important processes to be done before we start the jailbreak process. You must backup your device using iTunes or iCloud. It's because in-case if anything goes wrong, you can recover the device using the recent backup.
Next step is you have to restore to iOS 8.1.2 using iTunes even if you have already done the update 8.1.2 through OTA. You can download the iOS 8.1.2 from the official website of Apple.Inc.

Then Turn Off locks screen passcode and Touch ID. You can find this option by going to,
  • Settings > General > Touch ID & Passcode
Finally Turn Off Find My iPhone as well. You can find this option by going to,
  • Setting > iCloud > Find My iPhone
Now let's move to the jailbreak part of iOS 8.1.2

Jailbreak Steps

  1. Download the Taig tool for Windows PC Here
  2. Connect your Apple device to computer via USB cable
  3. Run the Taig tool on your computer
  4. Un-tick the 3k Assistant option in Taig and click on Start as shown in the image below

That's it. Now your iOS device is ready for the jailbreak. Taig tool will be starting the jailbreak processes one by one on your iOS device. Please make sure that you DO NOT disconnect the device from the PC, while the jailbreak process is running.
Once the process is completed, your device will restart once. After the restart, you will be able to find a new app called Cydia in your home screen. It means you have successfully done the iOS 8.1.2 jailbreak process.
